Christmas Morning

Ashlyn woke up bright and early for Christmas...2:00 a.m! She got clothes, Converse, a new cell phone, money and of course Power Bars instead of candy in her stocking. She is our health food nut.

Parker is a huge BYU fan. Can you tell?

Parker got Webkinz....A reindeer named "Johnny", a black and white cat named "Chad", and a Siamese cat named "Mack". Hey, if you've never had a Webkinz, you don't know what you are missing!!!!

Of course, he got lots of other stuff too!

Chad got a bunch of stuff too, but somehow I didn't get a picture of him with his loot.

This gift is one of their favorites. Santa suprised them with a Wii and Guitar Hero.

Future American Idol

This is Parker's absolute favorite song. It is "Fall for You" by Secondhand Serenade. He knows every word. Do you think he has been listening to the big kid's music too much?

Yes, he did it again....Another tooth popped out.....Just in time to sing that famous song....

The Popcorn Machine

At Chad's company Christmas party he won an enormous popcorn popper! It makes the movie theatre kind of popcorn. Yum!! (Where in the world are we going to keep it????)

Gingerbread House

Parker's class at school made gingerbread houses. They needed parent helpers and Dad got to help! Here is the finished product which I was assured Parker did the whole thing himself! Isn't it cute?

Lagoon

We went to Lagoon with the Osbornes for Frightmares in October. Parker was finally tall enough to ride on the big rides! The first ride we went on was the new one called "Wicked". And boy it was really wicked!

Halloween

This Halloween Parker was a clone trooper. (Commander Cody from Star Wars the Clone Wars)

Ashlyn did an amazing job carving the pumpkins this year. Parker asked Grandpa Jack for one of his white pumpkins from his garden. Ashlyn carved it into a cool ninja pumpkin! She also carved a BYU pumpkin, for Parker, of course! :D

Ashlyn's 17th B-Day

On Ashlyn's 17th birthday, her friends, Ben and Kayla, made her a really amazing cake. It's a Penguin! (They didn't have any orange or yellow, so they used hot pink for the beak!)

Field Trip Day

Parker and I had a fun day at his 2nd grade field trip day. We went to the pumpkin patch and the kids got to pick out a pumpkin. Then we went to an equestrian park and learned about farming and animals. At the end of the day we were exhausted. How do the teachers do it every single day????

Hey! Look at my pedicure!

Ashlyn got to spend a week in St. George this summer with her grandparents, aunt and cousins. While there the girls went out for pedicures. This is where these special socks come in handy---to show off her new pedicure! Seriously, do you think the girl needs new socks or what??? But, these are definitely her favorites! She won't get rid of them. I think I'll sneak in her room tomorrow morning after she leaves for school to "dispose of them". That is, if she isn't wearing them!

Ashlyn gets her CNA Certificate

Over summer vacation this past summer, Ashlyn took a CNA (certified nurse assistant) class through one of the local colleges. She very much enjoyed it and loved the clinicals the best. She loved the people at the nursing home she did her clinicals at and said some of the residents were so funny. She was the youngest in her class, age 16 at that time. This picture is at the graduation ceremony where she got her certificate.

Parker Loses His First Tooth!

Feeling very left out because ALL of his friends, and he tells me EVERY one of his friends, had already lost at least one tooth, finally Parker loses his first tooth! (It's that tiny white thing in between his fingers!)

Soccer Games

Dust Devils

This year Parker played soccer on a team called the "Dust Devils". Ashlyn helped coach again this year and they both had a lot of fun.

It is kind of hard to see Parker in this picture, but he is the third from the left.

Here is the team! Ashlyn is the one standing on the right... obviously. And Parker is kind of in the middle, but they all look so much alike in this picture it is hard to tell. I think he is the fifth from the left. :D
